Masterpost: Chaos (CBS TV series, 2011)

Chaos on CBS.com | IMDb | Twitter | Facebook | Wikipedia

CHAOS is a comedic drama about a group of rogue CIA spies in the Office of Disruptive Services (ODS), who combat threats to national security amidst bureaucratic gridlock, rampant incompetence and political infighting.

With outdated technology and limited supplies, the ODS team tackles high-risk foreign intelligence missions using manipulation, deception and wit to succeed. Rick Martinez was dismayed when his dream job as a spy was eliminated due to budget cuts on his first day; however, CIA Deputy Director H.J. Higgins, a calculating mastermind and head of the Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services (CHAOS), recognizes an opportunity and manipulates Rick into being his mole inside the secretive ODS department.

Heya! Haven't seen you about, so I hope you're well and just busy.

Anyhow, I know you asked me to let you know if there was another Chaos vid to be had, so... I posted another Chaos vid: SPRINT (http://starrylizard.livejournal.com/658310.html) and a S1 Primeval vid too: PRIMEVAL DREAMS (http://starrylizard.livejournal.com/657923.html).

Cheers

Hi Lizzie! :D

TWO vids?! I don't know how I missed those! Oh wait I know; I've been busy on and off LJ (crazy new obsession/fandom... *hides*) and not clicking my friends page often these days, that's why!

Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH for remembering me, dropping by and the heads-up! Checking them out now!

*runs off to watch*

No problem. What's your crazy new obsession fandom? :D

Thanks for this - that's a very handy round up of everything, especially the episode order!

My pleasure! :D People have been asking about the episode order so I thought/hoped putting it up here could help them, if a wee bit. Glad you think it's handy. :) I so hope in despair we'll get the official order and the series on DVD real soon!

I'd settle for getting DVDs at all. *sigh* Any word on when they might be available?

(Oh shit I just realised I completely forgot to reply, so sorry this is two million weeks late, but I don't want to leave them unanswered, so...)

My crazy shiny new fandom is The A-Team (the movie). :D I'm head over heels in love with it, it's not even funny!

As for Chaos DVD - do you think if they're really planning to release DVD at all? I'm pretty sure people at [livejournal.com profile] jamesmurrayfans would catch the news fast and first if something pops up, but nobody reports anything yet so it means no news... I'm getting worried. :(

[identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-30 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
There must be DVDs. Surely. I mean, even The Cape got DVDs and it only got 9 episodes on the TV, 10 if you count the one released online. Hmm. Perhaps I can enquire via twitter. I don't know any other way.

Haven't seen the A-Team yet. Maybe I'll borrow it. :)

There really must be, waiting for DVDs to come (and JM's next project) is killing me! :( Sorry I don't know much about The Cape - is it good/fun? :) And some good shows never made it to DVDs - and Chaos is REALLY good, which makes me extra worried! I've sent requests (only a couple of times) using feedback form on the bottom on CBS.com, but since my messages are automatically marked as non-US, I don't think they're effective. At least tweets would get more attention from people, I guess?

Watched the A-Team this summer for the first time and I gotta say, it's completely unexpected and delightful surprise to me. ;)

[identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-30 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
JM already has a next project? *curious eyes* Do tell more. Or do you just mean, you're hoping he'll have one soon? :)

The Cape was fun, but it was axed really quickly. It's about a guy who is framed for all these crimes and so he becomes his son's favourite super hero (The Cape) and tries to set things right and look out for his family. He is trained by this weird little bunch of criminal circus people and that's the best bit of it for me. The training is awesome. But yeah, axed. So many shows I watched this year got axed. I'm feeling like a curse.

Oh I meant I was hoping for him to have one, because come on, all the ex-Right Bastards have new projects going on, how come he's the only one who doesn't! And making us wait another two or three years is just criminal! Have you read JM Q&A at [livejournal.com profile] jamesmurraynews already? Looks like he's got something! *is hopeful*

The Cape sounds fun, and it has James Frain in it? Now I really must check that out. :D Sorry you lost so many shows this year. *pets you* Too many good, fun and promising shows get cancelled all the time, it saddens me no end. :'(

[identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-31 11:37 am (UTC)(link)
Oh I didn't realise the interview was up already. *goes to look*
I vidded The Cape earlier (http://starrylizard.livejournal.com/641564.html) if you want a taster. Might be a bit spoilery, but then I was hooked into watching it by a vid.

I'm hoping next year I'll have better luck with the shows I watch.

Cheers
Lizzie
